5 Essentials to a Healthy Breakfast

What you eat in the morning sets the tone for the rest of your day and thus breakfast stands as one of the most important meals you could consume. Eating breakfast not only makes more energetic but more motivated and driven to go about the things you have to do during the day.

On the other hand if you tend to set your alarm to snooze 3 times in the morning and skip on it your body tends to crave food and thus might make you disorganized due to lack of strength and energy.

Food is a great way to start changing your bad morning habits and change your morning and the rest of your day overall. Here are a few food choices that will help you in your transformation.

1. Have a little sugar in the morning, it does not have to be an overload of sugar like a jelly donut. A bowl of fruit salad on the other hand will help you to get the necessary vitamins and natural sweetness you need. Including an intake of sugar in your breakfast will help you acquire better memory recall for your hectic day.

2. Coffee, my personal favourite. Is also an important component that will help you during the day. Even the smell of coffee helps you wake up and get out of the groggy mood you are in. Drinking coffee also happens to be a natural stimulant for your nervous system which helps your body and mind feel energetic. If you are not a coffee drinker, orange juice is your next best option. Orange juice not only has many antioxidants that is very beneficiary to you but it is different from the other kind of juices, this is because it helps to reverse the damage to your body that might’ve been caused by eating unhealthy food choices.

3. The famous most traditional ingredient in mostly every breakfast meal; eggs. Eggs not only has a variety of recipies which can suit anyone’s taste buds. Eggs will complete the portion of protein you need to have in the morning as well. Many studies also prove that eating eggs compared to a bagel for example will help you feel full for longer and help you consume fewer calories.

4. If you don’t have time to make eggs another option can be breakfast cereal. Refined and whole grain cereals tend to be the best options in choosing your morning cereal. This food type has also shown that the individuals who have eaten cereal compared to individuals who haven’t have weighed less. Including flax seed in your cereal will instantly boost the nutrition you are already receiving. Flax seed will provide omega – 3 fatty acids with using just 2 tablespoons of it.

5. To include a little calcium in your meal, greek yogurt is your best friend. Greek yogurt is better because it has twice as much as calcium and protein as regular yogurt. Your best option would be choosing a non- fat, plain yogurt and fruits of your choice to suit your taste.

Technology Trends: Apple Macbook (2015) : All looks, No Guts but still a trendsetter?

On March 9th 2015, Tim Cook announced the launch of the next “thinnest ever macbook ever created” and had the masses in complete awe. Just like with any Apple product, the Apple Macbook (2015) is beautifully immaculate in design thanks to Jony Ive and his design team. With Apple’s very own 12″ Retina Display, the new keyboard and its Butterfly mechanism, Force Touch trackpad, its extremely thin chassis (13.1mm), lightweight design weighing in at only 2 lb. and now with the availability of Gold and Space Grey colours some might be quick to argue that Apple has really outdone themselves. But reality soon hits us when we pause and take a look at the spec sheet and start second guessing and even questioning the 1299 US$ price tag.

It comes in 1.1GHz, 1.2GHz an 1.3GHz Intel Core M processor models, has 1 USB-C port and a headphone jack and yup, thats pretty much it. Lets face it with an Intel Core M processor this laptop hasn’t been designed for heavy duty applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut Pro but for content consumption and browsing the web with incredible ease and prestige. On the connectivity front, wirelessly pairing all our devices is no doubt the future of modern day computing and USB-C will only propel this change. But with Apple providing just one USB-C port on the Macbook it is not really making the transition easy and  looks like we are heading back to the good ol’ days of dongles and adapters.

But despite the connectivity issues, the mobile processor and the hefty price tag attached to it, it is a visual work of art and a beauty to look at and just like most Apple products it is bound to sell like hot cakes. We at Voguebook strongly urge that the 2015 Macbook should definitely be on your watch list as it is bound to become a huge trend this April. The Apple Watch on the other hand, well we aren’t too convinced with that one.
